I have been teaching in mainstream education for over 22 years and currently hold the position of Lead Practitioner in Mathematics at a secondary school in Nottingham.
I have decided to launch a Saturday Hub to support students in years 10 and 11 who have missed valuable mathematics teaching due to the impact of COVID-19.
The Saturday Support Hub aims to help students develop strategies that will increase their confidence in mathematics. Whilst attending the Saturday Hub, students will also be taught the key areas of mathematics, with a focus on Problem Solving (A03).
I am a passionate, experienced, and well-driven teacher who places the learning of children at the forefront of education.
How it works
Aim high is a Saturday Maths support Hub for year 10 and Year 11 students. The Hub is designed to assist pupils in the community who have lost essential learning due to the pandemic.
Each Saturday Master Class is broken down into different sessions, allowing students to choose which topics they need support with. Classes are only available for foundation and higher tier year 10 and year 11 students.
Students will be taught by myself; the Lead Mathematics teacher and an experienced mathematics coach will be providing class-based support to children.
The cost per child is £25 for each session.

Year 10/11 Foundation Tier: 10:00am – 11:00am
Year 10/11 Higher Tier: 11:15am – 12:15pm
